6x32/8x42/10x42/10x50/12x50/12x56/15x56 APO Binoculars

Excellent binoculars. My second pair of Sky Rover binoculars, and I am very happy with them. Terrific build quality and the optics are superb.

Great first light - managed to spot C/2025 SWAN R2 at 10° altitude under challenging conditions, with the sun having set only 30 minutes earlier.

Bright, well corrected field of view and very expansive. Ony pet peeve is that the case that comes with it is too snug of a fit. I ordered a 3rd party one.

I thought I liked the Banner Cloud 12x50 the best, but the more I use the Banner Cloud 6x32, it is becoming my new favorite. I have never, ever seen a 6x binocular with so little distortion and such sharp edges. Holger Merlitz said in his review that the Banner Cloud 6x32 had some dropoff at the edges and there is a very slight amount, but for all practical purposes these binoculars are sharp to the edge. It is amazing to have a 12.2 degree FOV that is sharp to the edge because you see so MUCH! The whole FOV is amazingly sharp with great DOF, and it is rock steady because of the low magnification. The clarity and transparency are also amazing. This is a very bright binocular in low light with very good control of CA even at the edges. It is incredibly easy to spot and follow birds, and really you don't lose much detail versus a 8x because you can hold them so much steadier. The focuser is very smooth, and the eye cups work perfectly, and the build quality of the binocular is flawless. This at least a $2000.00 binocular for $500.00.

These binoculars allow for very relaxing observations in a variety of natural settings – from open landscapes and urban areas, through forests, to the night sky. The great depth of field often allows you to move your eyes around the entire field of view without touching the focuser. The low magnification also means excellent image stability, allowing for very relaxing viewing.

The technical image quality is slightly inferior to the 8x42 APO (which I also own), due to a slightly higher AC and image softness at the field stop. Spikes are sometimes visible when viewing against strong light sources. Still, this is a very high level of imaging! The image is sharp and contrasty across virtually the entire field of view, and the aforementioned flaws have to be specifically looked for and they only become apparent in special circumstances.

Have you considered making 4x24 model with 18* field of view and without a focusing mechanism :)? If so, I'd consider buying a pair!
