Warranty Service Overview

If a product develops a defect or malfunction, any product accompanied by a Sky Rover Warranty Card (hereinafter referred to as “the Product”) is eligible for two (2) years of free warranty service from the date of purchase.

During this period, the user may present the Warranty Card along with an invoice or other valid proof of purchase to the Sky Rover After-Sales Service Center or an authorized dealer to receive free repair service.


Free warranty does not apply to:

1. Damage or malfunction caused by misuse, abuse, or failure to follow the user manual;
2. Damage or malfunction resulting from repairs or modifications performed by anyone other than the Sky Rover Optics Service Center or authorized dealers. 

Warranty service is valid only through the Sky Rover Optics Service Center or authorized dealers. If the user resells a product still under warranty, please ensure the Warranty Card and original proof of purchase are transferred to the new owner.

Warranty Period

Sky Rover optical products come with a 2-year warranty. After the warranty period expires, Sky Rover provides lifetime paid repair services, with parts and labor fees
charged as applicable.

Note: “Lifetime service” applies only to models that remain in production or for which essential spare parts and technical support are still available.

Two-Year Limited Warranty Terms 

This limited warranty grants the user specific legal rights, and the user may also have other rights depending on the laws of your country or region.
Sky Rover Optics guarantees that within two (2) years from the original retail purchase date, if the product fails due to defects in materials or workmanship, Sky Rover will repair or replace, at its discretion, any defective product or component verified upon inspection. The remedies and coverage provided under this warranty are limited to those expressly stated herein. Some countries or regions do not allow limitations on warranty duration, so the above limitation may not apply in certain areas. For defective products, our responsibility is limited to repair or replacement only — refunds are not provided.

Warranty Eligibility

This limited warranty extends to the lawful holder of the product within the valid warranty period, starting from the original purchase date, including both the original purchaser and a legitimate transferee

Warranty Coverage 

Sky Rover products are covered by a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, valid from the original retail purchase date as specified below:
1. Standard Optical Products: 2 years 
2. Banner Cloud APO & APO BINO Series: 3 years

Exclusions (Not Covered by Warranty)

The following are not covered by the warranty:
1. Normal wear or cosmetic imperfections, such as: 
·Minor surface scratches, small bubbles, or glue traces
·Small particles or dust inside the optics that do not affect image quality
·Aging or slight degradation due to time or environment
·Slight variations in coating, damping, or focus feel
·Tight or loose eyepiece threads or interface tolerance differences
·Minor chromatic or optical aberrations in star tests
·Small cosmetic scratches, uneven anodizing, or slightly misaligned screws 
·Minor optical axis deviation within manufacturing tolerance
*These are normal characteristics of hand-assembled optical instruments and do not constitute quality defects. 
2. Damage caused by misuse, abuse, drops, impact, exposure to extreme environments, or failure to follow the user manual. 
3. Unauthorized disassembly, repair, or modification. 
4. Collimation (optical axis) deviation claims made more than 30 days after purchase.
5. Loss or accidental damage of accessories (such as lens caps, eyecups, straps, bag).
6. Second-hand products without valid proof of purchase. 
7. Products purchased from unauthorized sellers or any cross-border platforms.

Warranty Period & Replacement Policy

The warranty period is calculated from the purchase date and is valid for two (2) years. 
Repairs or replacements made within the warranty period do not extend the original warranty period.
Sky Rover reserves the right to replace discontinued models with products of equal value or equivalent functionality. Replaced products or components become the property of Sky Rover. Sky Rover does not offer refunds—only repair or replacement.

Warranty Service Application 

To apply for warranty service, please provide:
1. The warranty card, proof of purchase, and the defective product;
2. A written statement including the user’s name, contact information, shipping address, and a photo or video showing the defect.
Please contact Sky Rover or an authorized dealer before returning any product to confirm eligibility and obtain return instructions.

Shipping Policy: 

During warranty period, the user covers shipping to Sky Rover; We will cover return shipping. After warranty period, the user shall bear the round-trip freight.
Please ensure the product is well-packed to prevent damage during transport.

Warranty Transfer Policy

Sky Rover provides limited warranty transfer for second-hand products, if original proof of purchase is provided, warranty validity is based on the original purchase date. If no proof of purchase is available, repair 
fees may apply.

Limitation of Liability

This document constitutes the sole and exclusive warranty of Sky Rover.
Sky Rover’s maximum liability shall not exceed the actual amount paid for the product.
Sky Rover shall not be held responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Sky Rover reserves the right to modify or discontinue product models and designs without prior notice.
